I saw this summary (click here) of the top seven muscle cars of all time and had to smile when the list included a 70 Chevelle. It made me think of all the Chevelles that once roamed the roads of Ridge. Off the top of my head I recall Doug Courtney with a blue one, Ralph Owens a green one, Terry Madjeski a black one, and Joe Clarke a red one.
My favorite Chevelle though was the one that I spent the most time in as a passenger and that would be Joe Cullison’s burgundy one. When Joe was home from Tahoe a few weeks ago, I asked him to send me photo of it. Here’s what he sent me – a photo of his Chevelle taken very appropriately enough at John Nelson’s Gas Station. Brought back some good memories. Thanks Joe!
