Following up on the bakery video of yesterday, here’s one for you featuring a local boy doing good things in his restaurant – Kevin Thompson owner of Kevin’s Corner Café. Check out Brother Billy Fitzgerald in the background at the 1:32 and 2:14 marks. Years back when Billy ran Fitzgerald’s Bar in Mechanicsville, Kevin’s father Paul Thompson operated Thompson’s Seafood next door. Aside from working for his father in the seafood business, Kevin also worked for Billy and actually began his bar/restaurant career in Fitzgerald’s. Kevin’s dad Paul still operates his seafood business to this day in Mechanicsville.
