My Friday Conversation With Shawn (CWS) went something like this.
Me: “Got a little bone to pick with you.”
Shawn: “What does that mean?”
Me: “Whenever someone says that to you it means that they are not happy with something that you said or did.”
Shawn: “What’d I do?”
Me: “Well in this case it’s what you didn’t do. How come you didn’t tell me about the awards ceremony at school and you getting all those awards?”
Shawn: “I didn’t know I was getting all of them. I knew I was getting perfect attendance but I didn’t know I was getting the other 5 awards.”
Me: “Well next time you know you’re getting any award, how about letting me know so I can be there.”
Fortunately, Carol Evans was at the awards ceremony, took the above pics and posted them for all of us to appreciate. Thank you Carol and way to go Shawn!
