Mike Rollins’ daughter Sherrie was in Buzzy’s Country Store the other day and I showed her this photo of her Dad positioned in a place of honor on the beer case. Years ago Mike worked in the Store for Buzzy and was one of the more memorable folks to have been a part of the Store’s legacy.
I don’t know any of the particulars of the photo other than I found it in Buzzy’s collection of old photo’s. However, it’s a great photo of Captain Mike with his hand on the boat till and his eyes looking port ward . That he was out on the water may explain the smile on his face. He’s a little too clean to be working and since it looks like a night photo I suspect that this was more a pleasure cruise than it was work related. Wish that Buzzy and/or Mike were around to explain what they were up to when this photo was taken.
