Speaking of restaurants, from my previous post, above is what’s written on the entry wall to the Island Ruddy Duck’s kitchen. “We are ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen. Always.” It serves as a nice little reminder for their staff.
I would do something similar at Buzzy’s Country Store but it would have words like “fun loving people serving fun loving people.” (And no, “rednecks serving rednecks” did not cross my mind!)
Actually I do have an informal business motto for those who sit behind the Buzzy counter to try and follow: “Our goal is to ensure that people in Buzzy’s Country Store are as relaxed and comfortable as we can make them and that they leave Buzzy’s feeling better than when they came in.” It doesn’t always work out that way but that’s the goal at least.
