The Island Inn on St. George’s Island is a great place to stay and makes for a good alternative to the Lexington Park glut of hotels. If you ever have some out of town guests looking for a place to stay, the Island Inn may suit them. Here are two reviews of the Inn from Tripadvisor:
Webster Field Navy Base plays the National Anthem every morning at 800 am. Can see where a visitor to the area would find that to be pretty cool.
On the other hand, say the visitor was the type of person who liked to sleep in. The National Anthem at 8 am may not be so cool. Don’t know if that bothered this reviewer or not, but they sure had a different take on their visit than the one above.
