Frankly, I Never Heard “Make My Gorge Rise”

Saw where Gone With the Wind hit its 75th anniversary the other day (click here.)  Found another article that discusses various options that were up for consideration instead of  Rhett’s saying “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn” (click here.)  (The movie’s makers were worried about use of the word damn and sought other options which are listed below.)  

Don’t know that I’ve ever heard that last one about Scarlett making Rhett’s gorge rise, but evidently that’s a valid way to express one’s anger (click here.)  At least that one makes a little more sense than #5 on the list “Don’t give a Continental.”)

Guess that if they were having problems with Rhett saying “damn,” then Harry’s expressed option here wouldn’t have made the cut either:
