Ernie’s obituary states that he was a gifted designer who “was able to put the dreams of others into their homes through relationships, conversations and wishes.” Thought that that was a nice way of summing up Ernie and how he approached his work on others’ behalf.
Ernie not only designed the current incarnation of my house but also re-designed it a couple of times before this last go round. He and my son Brady, who at one time worked for Ernie, remodeled the house for me several years ago BP (Before Pam.) Then Ernie and Pam started discussing things and before I knew it Mike Adams, his brothers Danny and Pat, Brady and co-worker Mole remodeled my house again.
And it was all done in accordance with Ernie’s designs. He was a great designer but more importantly he was a great guy.
