Speaking of hearing things in a corn field (yesterday’s post) this scene came to mind:
Still the best sports movie ever made. (Talladega Nights is a close second though.) You can watch FoD here if you’ve never seen it (click here.) All that father-son stuff (1:54 mark on) still makes me tear up.
But my personal reflection on fields of corn is being up in the ferris wheel at the Valley Lee Carnival this time of year and seeing how beautiful all of the fields around the Firehouse were full of corn growing. Valley Lee was well known for its 4th of July fireworks (click here for more info) but the memory that stays with me is that of all those corn fields. Wish I had gotten some photo’s of it from that ferris wheel vantage point.
And now that I think about it, hey Bryan Swann, send that Go Pro Drone of yours over that way for me please.
