Ever run into something where you are not sure whether you like it or you hate it? For instance, Facebook comes to my mind as a good example of something that I am not quite sure whether I like or hate it.
Call it ambivalence, love/hate relationship, Stockholm Syndrome, approach/avoidance behavior whatever cool term you can think of, but some heavy duty shrinks have actually tried to study and define this feeling (click here.)
And it extends also to people. For example, there is the celebrity Justin Timberlake. Dick in a Box may have moved him off of my dislike list for awhile but there’s still something about him that I’m just not sure of.
Buzzy himself was no stranger to this phenomena either. He used to describe some folks who came in the Store quite often “They’re o.k. but after awhile they get on my nerves.” I put these folks into the “a little goes a long way” category.
