Daughter Reagan gave me Jimmy Page’s book as a birthday present and I’ve enjoyed checking it out. (The ZoSo title has a bunch of mystery and speculation behind it and if you are curious about that (click here.) Personally, I grew tired of all that maybe-occult-reference crap years ago.)
But the book itself is kind of cool in that it’s one of those coffee table jobbers that I would see somewhere, would like to own, but wouldn’t want to spring for the $40 -$50 that it would cost me. Thus, it was a good present from my Reagan. Good present defined as something you’d like to have but don’t want to spend the money to buy.
Thus, when I saw the following notation for 12 August’s This Day in Rock History I had to comment here.

While Dazed and Confused was never my favorite Zeppelin tune, this video gives you a good look at the whole Jimmy Page bad ass oeuvre. (I think oeuvre is just a fancy word for stuff.) If you don’t have 28 minutes to piss away on this, just go to the 17 minute mark and you’ll get a sample of what I’m talking about.)
