Political cartoonist John Darkow did a pretty good job capturing the essence of a country store here. He shows a rickety old building with a tin roof and a front porch along with an ice box, a soda for sale sign (even if it is for Mountain Dew,) a Martian Bruno and two questionable characters sitting back relaxing. Could be a scene taken right from Buzzy’s Country Store right?
