Not to sound too much like a curmudgeon, but all of this spring forward, fall back crap seems like a huge waste of time to me (if there is a pun in there somewhere, it was intended.) It got me thinking about something I saw recently concerning Universal Time that doesn’t fool with DST.

And into this mix I would propose Buzzy Time with the standard being 4 o’clock. All time would be based on 4 p.m. and spin off from there.
Here’s a great little song from 1966 by a Cleveland based group called the Outsiders. Most folks regard it as a one-hit-wonder-kind of song, but the double timing thing they do at the end of it (pick it up at the 2:25 mark) sets this song off as a great tune:
