Know how your Mom always made you write those thank you notes? Guess Governor Hogan had one of those kind of moms too as I received this very nice letter and photo(s) in the mail from him Wednesday:

All I can say is that it was a great pleasure to have hosted and met the Governor and his family. Now if I can just get this Liquor Board stuff taken care of, I will feel even better about having had Governor Hogan drop in. I’m scheduled to appear before the Board on the 14th of April. I am asking that they approve my request for an extension of premises to allow drinking on the porch, something I thought I already had. Same old same old, you don’t know what you got til it’s gone!
