Someone asked me the other day in Buzzy’s Country Store why I no longer had a post on the Buzzyblog by 5 a.m. each morning. They noted that the Buzzyblog was one of their firsts visits each morning because they knew that I’d have something out there by 5 every day.
Well here is the deal – I used to consider 5 my “deadline.” Previously, if I made my first morning move at 4 or so, I would spend that first hour with a cup of coffee and churning something out here on the Buzzyblog. However, one of my New Year’s resolutions was to try and sleep a little more and I’ve been semi-successful with that. As a result, I’ve not been as consistent as I was previously in posting something by 5 o’clock.
So my apologies to all you early visitors for missing my 5 a.m. appointment with you. I will figure something out and try and get back to where I used to be. (Thanks to a nice feature of blogging I can pre-post things and slot them to appear at 5 a.m.. So until I abandon my sleep-more resolution perhaps I’ll do that and get back on my 5 o’clock schedule.)
I know you are expecting Alan Jackson here, but he’s talking 5 p.m. so give this video a listen to instead. From the looks of her video, it doesn’t appear that she is doing any blogging at 5 a.m. either.
