Ah yes, a couple of days of sunshine was all it took for the reappearance of one of the Greatest Inventions of all time – the sundress.
Went to a Nationals ball game the other day and as we made our way into the parking lot, a young lady in a sundress strolled across the intersection before us literally stopping all traffic. It made me want to thank the man who invented sundresses.
Turns out that it was not a man but a lady named Lilly Pulitzer who is credited with the origination of the sundress. How she came up with it has an entrepreneurial and a very practical background to it.
