Bunch of things going on around the County this weekend so get out and check ’em out. I know, it’s hot and humid but it’s July and it’s supposed to be hot and humid. Don’t let that slow you down.
Because I am a self serving kind of guy, my main encouragement of course is for you to attend the Pt. Lookout Lighthouse Open House on Saturday and then stop at Buzzy’s Country Store. And there is also the Smith Island cruise leaving from Pt. Lookout on Saturday and Sunday. Did I mention that you should stop in Buzzy’s on your way to or from the Point? See a pattern here?
On the other side of the County, St. Clements Island Museum folks are hosting their annual Jazz Fest (click here.) It’ll be a little tough logistics-wise to stop in Buzzy’s on your way to the Jazz Fest but it could be done if you’re in a riding and driving kind of mood.
Matt Marshak is one of the performers scheduled to play at the Jazz Fest. Here is one of his tunes that should relax you and maybe even put you to sleep. If it doesn’t do so, you may want to slack back on the caffeine, Red Bull, meth or whatever else it is that is getting you thru your day.
