Tomato Cannery in Ridge

Christmas Eve and initially I was going to do something about how the pagans were responsible for starting it:

But how’s about something maybe not as Christmasy but just maybe more interesting – Pat Woodburn’s excellent article on the tomato cannery in Ridge.  Here are some excerpts from his article that appeared in the Fall 2016 edition of the St. Mary’s Historical Society Chronicles.

Pat then goes on to discuss Carolyn’s recollections of working at the cannery and how it was once a very thriving business.
