Here’s a little drill for you: name three Supreme Court decisions. (This is one of the Katie Couric question that tripped up Sarah Palin.) Bet that Roe versus Wade is the first (only?) one you cited.
I recall reading in The Brethren how the justices were having trouble coming up with their decision in the case, when Justice Blackmun suggested the trimester compromise as follows:

All this comes to mind because of the March for Life in D.C. later today.
March For Life was moved back from its customary 22 January timeframe because of the Inauguration events of last week. Every time I see photos of folks participating in the March for Life, George Carlin’s classic quote comes to my mind. He lays it on you here in his opening.
