Heading down to my beach the other day I noticed the 2 old stringers still in the pine tree. Seeing that one of the stringers is now cattywampus I thought “Maybe I should just go ahead and tear both of them down.”
However, like so many of my deep thoughts, it was very fleeting, because I immediately knew that I couldn’t do it.
The stringers are the only remnants of an old tree fort that was there when I first moved in almost 40 years ago. Through the years the fort has taken many hits and now only its stringers remain.
Couple other items hanging around up above caught my eye in my travels.

Following video has nothing to do with any of the above. However, I like the tune and the fact that Modern Family’s Haley (Sarah Hyland) nails it, makes it worth checking out. Hopefully, the Dunphy’s can finally be proud of her.
