Ran across this video somewhere in my internet ramblings and initially dismissed it. My first reaction to these kind of prescriptions for living is usually one of skepticism. Just someone’s opinion you know? And opinions are like…..
However, after viewing the video, I found that throughout the course of my next couple of days things mentioned in it kept coming back to me. For example, I was checking the expiration dates on some packs of marshmallows I have for sale in Buzzy’s Country Store and it reminded me of the video’s marshmallow test. Later on, as I was taking out the trash, I saw Jenn with her dog Spencer and it made me think about what it would be like trying to teach him about tomorrow. Later, I re-watched the video and concluded that it did have something to say. Took me awhile to get to that point though. I’ll chalk it up to my newly found rediscovery abilities!
