At the Buzzy Christmas party I was so caught up in worrying about and ensuring that things went smoothly that it didn’t even dawn on me to take some photos. This was another first for me because taking pictures has always been a priority for me. (Notice that I did not say that I forgot to take any photos! However, I am the first to concede that that may have been a factor too!)
And just because, for whatever reason, I did not take any photos, it makes me all the more grateful to those folks who did and either sent them to me or posted them on FB.

Seeing Neal Siegel in the photo with Jimmy frying oysters reminded me of something he and I discussed just the other day. I told him how growing up I never knew any folks who were Jewish until I went to Ryken High School and met him. Neal laughed and joked “Don’t feel bad. I didn’t know I was Jewish either until I went to Ryken.”
