Rock and Roller that I am, I know it’s not cool to admit any liking of disco music. However, there were quite a few disco tunes that I kind of liked back then and still don’t mind hearing again today. And yet when it came time to actually shell out some coin to buy any disco stuff, I was a little slow to do so. I liked it but not enough to spend money on it.
Having said that however, there is one disco artist in my rotation – LaDonna Gaines whom we all know as Donna Summer.
Too, today marks 7 years since Donna died from lung cancer and moved onto that big Disco Ball Room in the sky. I heard this tune of hers on the radio the other day and voila:
