The last CD I purchased was Tom and the Heartbreakers’ Hypnotic Eye released in 2014.
(Wow, been 5 years since I bought any music!)
However, when I bought Hypnotic Eye, I never for a moment imagined that it would be the last CD that Tom ever made.
Lots of great tunes on the CD, but check out Power Drunk with the opening line “Who’s gonna come and take this badass down?” We all know whom Tom is writing about don’t we – our very own Lying King.
