Cindy and Joe Salvo will feature an Ugly Sweater Party at Sunset Cove this evening with music by the 15 Strings Bluegrass Band.
It got me wondering just how and when the Ugly Sweater phenomena originated. I didn’t have to look too far. This article popped up when I did a quick search on that world wide thingamajig (click here.)
Too, I learned that National Ugly Sweater Day is officially designated as falling on the 3rd Friday in December. If for some reason you can’t make it down to Sunset Cove later today to show off your ugly sweater, you still have next Friday to do so. (Of course, at Buzzy’s Country Store every day is ugly sweater day because nobody there cares if and when you feel like showing off your ugly or even not-so-ugly sweater!)
And speaking of ugly, for all you Trumpsters there is even an Ugly Sweater for you to “don” (pun intended.) It is the most perfect and ugliest sweater in all of the history of mankind. You simply pay your money and you will get this ugly sweater; but that is NOT a quid pro quo!
