On Fridays I usually try to post something about upcoming events in the Buzzy South County area. However, as the KoC sign notes here – ain’t nothing happening nowhere.
So Plan B, suggest you get some take out, go home and chill. (Brings up just how did “self quarantine” and “shelter in place” etc. all come to replace saying something simple like “keep your ass home”? How about then we advise folks to “self medicate in place.” Sounds like more fun.)
But back to take out. Last week Chef Andy at Sunset Cove Restaurant fixed up some great dinners for me to bring home to the family. When I had told my in-laws earlier in the day that I would be taking them out to dinner that evening they correctly pointed out that all the restaurants were closed for dining in. I told them it was the Ridge boy definition of going out for dinner – I’d bring it home and we would all sit out on the back deck and eat it. (Actually it was a little too chilly for that so we ate and enjoyed it inside.)
