Baltimore Colts’ linebacker Mike “Mad Dog” Curtis passed away the other day. Every obit and article I have read on him mentions the time he decked a drunk fan who ran onto the field and tried to swipe the game ball. (Click here and scroll down to watch a video of it.)
There are various rankings and collections of players decking fans thru the years and Mike’s is always included as one of, if not THE best one ever (click here.) I tried a couple Google attempts to see whatever happened to the fan who Mike clobbered. The fan reportedly tried to sue the Colts only to have the case tossed out. However, I wasn’t able to find anything else on him subsequent to the trial. Guess you could say he is laying low.
