The topic of conversation the other day in Buzzy’s Country Store involved elevating houses and moving buildings in general. Pat Guy discussed working on a couple of jobs on St. George’s Island where the homeowners had elevated their houses. I mentioned an ongoing job nearby Caitie and Brady’s home in Tall Timbers and later took these photos of it:
Eric Brotherton then mentioned a building in Indiannapolis that was rotated 90 degrees while the worker bees inside it continued to work everyday. Thanks to the www machine, I was able to track down the following:
