Big story in college football today involves the Alabama-Texas game and no it is not about the actual game itself.
The Tide’s Million Dollar Marching Band will not be in attendance at the game because the UT folks assigned them nosebleed seats:
Given that Alabama is a 20 point favorite to begin with, the Longhorns may find out that pissing off Nick Saban and his guys is never a good idea. Also, the over/under is at 64. My bet would be that Bama alone will score that many.
I’ll have the noon game on at Buzzy’s Country Store and no there won’t be any free drinks every time Bama scores. However, stop by and see if Texas can hang enough to at least come close to covering the spread.
Music-wise, I think the problem may have started when it was discovered that the Bama Marching Band did not have a fiddler!
