Bourbon Tweet

Nice article in the WaPo yesterday from John Feinstein discussing former Nationals’ pitcher Drew Storen who is now making Field of Dreams Bourbon (click here.) While the overall story is worth reading, it was something else that caught my eye. In the comments’ section following the Feinstein article there was this exchange:

Turns out that there is this myth that “bourbon” can only be made in Kentucky. This made me think of our local bourbon being produced by the Tobacco Barn Distillery folks here in St. Mary’s County:

As for going 700 MPH in a jet, at the Kenny Loggins Wolf Trap show a few weeks back, he concluded the main part of his show, thanked everyone and left the stage. Thinking that the show was over, some of the attendees then started heading to the exits. They very obviously did not know that Kenny would be back for an encore and do his three biggest “movie hits” Footloose, I’m Alright (Caddyshack) and the following tune. The would-be-departees immediately returned to their seats when Kenny re-took the stage and launched into this one:
