Twofer – Crab Float Photos

Twofer Tuesday so let’s look at a couple of crab float photos.

Heading down to visit Caitie and Brady in Tall Timbers the other day, I spied the following display of crab floats by one of their neighbors and took this photo:

My first thought was that I would save it for a Buzzy blogpost showing various yard decorations that I see as I drive to and from the Store every day.

However, just last week as I wandered around a little shop over in Ocean City, this other crab float photo caught my eye. It led me to conclude that it was much better than my effort. (Maybe those bikes made it a lot more interesting than my pic.)

Doing a little research, I learned that the photo was taken by Jill Jasuta who has a great FB page (click here) as well as an excellent web site (click here.) Here is a sampling of her work from her FB page.

All of which makes me want to get out the old Nikon and start taking some waterfront-related photos either with or without crab floats in them. I now use the iPhone more so as a camera than I do to receive and make phone calls. However, I do miss mucking around with a clunky 35mm camera. Time to dust that boy off and get him clicking again.

And speaking of taking pictures, nice little Keith Urban tune here about the fun of having old photos around to consult and go back to:
