In Buzzy’s Country Store I frequently overhear variations of “Remember when” comments. Usually the comment has to do with the cost of something as in “Remember when a gallon of milk cost….” or “Remember when you could buy a nickel bag for $5?” (OK, so I don’t hear that nickel bag line that often. I just threw that in here as an excuse to pass the following along from an article on decriminalizing pot at the Federal level:

Not fighting cops and eating Oreos when high, I get; but watching cartoons never did much for me – high or otherwise.
As to why I bring all this up however, (other than to pass the pot quote along) remember when the Monday after Thanksgiving was simply referred to as “The Monday after Thanksgiving?” It made me wonder – when and how did today become Cyber Monday?
Hell, it even has it’s own Wiki entry. Turns out that a lady named Ellen Davis (no relation to Eddie that I know of) came up with the term in 2005.

As for shopping online, here is a pop quiz for you: name the one product you buy online that never has any negative reviews? Answer – a parachute!
And remember when you heard advice like this?

Wonder if Alan will be doing any cyber shopping today:
