Ok, call it the “Buzzy Christmas Party.” Initially, I thought to try and low key it by calling it a “Gathering” but as the cool folks tend to say – it is what it is – a party!
As always, we will have plenty to eat and drink along with some music and maybe even a visit from Santa himself. Buzzy tree lighting will be at 7:00. Notice the early start time to allow you to make an appearance and then be home by your bedtime. Brings up the question of just how the hell does Santa manage to keep doing his thing all night long on Christmas Eve? Answer, he’s got good help in Rudolph and the rest of the crew.

For an interesting back story of how Chuck, despite writing, composing and recording the song, was sued and eventually had to share the publishing rights to the song (click here.) Seems that the dude who wrote Gene Autry’s “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” had trademarked the name Rudolph and then sued Chuck for mentioning Rudolph. I guess Chuck could have avoided all this had he made it “Run Run Blitzen” but it didn’t sound as good!
