A wise man once told me to never give up on my dreams.
That is why I keep sleeping.
Someone in Buzzy’s Country Store the other day was discussing how her dreams would sometimes awaken her and make her wonder “Where did THAT come from?”

It made me think back to a psych class I took at St. Mary’s College many years ago where the subject discussed was Freud and his Interpretation Of Dreams theories. The professor made the point that while Freud is most noted for being the originator and father of psychoanalysis, it was his work in dream interpretation that also provided theories and explanations for how our unconsciousness influences and enables us to deal with life as we do.
Through the years there has been much controversy and churn over Freud’s theories. However, anything you read having to do with dreams and their significance will always begin by referencing Freud’s groundbreaking work. Recall my mentioning the Fleetwood Mac song “Dreams” the other day? (It was the Buzzyblog post on the best two chord songs.) Well, here is something else I didn’t know about that tune – it was their only Number 1 hit in the U.S. (click here.) Don’t know why it is that with all the great lines in this song, the one that always stays with me most is “Women, they will come and they will go” (3:15 mark.)
