I am a firm believer in my Higher Power sending me signs. The fact that I do not always recognize nor pick up on them is another issue entirely. I was reminded of the power of signs when I saw the following:
A quick google of “God sends signs” will take take you down a rabbit hole of Biblical quotes and advice on how to ask for and recognize signs sent to you. There are all sorts of signs out there but you have to be patient when looking for them. (For a good article on it (click here.)
Whenever the subject of receiving a sign comes up, I always think of Steve Martin in the movie L.A. Story and this scene:
To save you trying to unscramble the clue “How Daddy is doing?” The answer is – Sing Do Wah Diddy. Steve’s love interest in the movie was played by his then real life wife Victoria Tennant, but they divorced 3 years later. Maybe they missed a sign or two.
