Praying Like a Cat in a Mosque

I am not a cat person and no this is not a sign that I am softening up any in my regard for them.

However, and it’s a big HOWEVER, this video making the internet rounds did make me pause and watch it twice. See if you don’t agree that this dude did a pretty good job staying on message while this Garfield-wanna-be jumped on and walked all over him. Not sure how I would have reacted, but do know that it would not have been like this.

Most rock critics have the Stones best albums as the 4 released consecutively in the late 60’s early 70’s: Beggars Banquet (68), Let it Bleed (69), Sticky Fingers (71) and Exiles on Main Street (72.) Can’t disagree with that assessment, but for my money, their Aftermath (65) remains my favorite overall album. I thought of it just now when the line “running like a cat in a thunder storm” popped into my head for maybe not so obvious reasons. Here is Hollis Brown covering that tune from the Aftermath album. (Cat reference is at 1:10 mark.)

Orioles with a 1:00 game to try and sweep the Braves today. Got the game on and hot dogs for you at Buzzy’s. Does it get any better than that?
