Quick followup to my Twofer Tuesday post featuring What’s Cooking in Ridge cookbook(s.)
Thanks to that Facebook machine and Susan Tennyson, they helped to clear up a couple of questions that I had about the original cookbook that Cousin Lorraine gave me. For instance – what did the cover look like? Susan posted this photo of it:

Susan also posted this photo containing Kenny Trossbach’s signature on one of the first pages in the book. Lorraine’s copy had this too, but I was leery of posting it Tuesday because I thought Kenny might claim it as his. (Note below how I had even gone so far as to try to block out Kenny’s name on Lorraine’s water-stained copy. Ultimately, I decided to just not show it at all on the Tuesday Buzzyblog post. Confession here – I was simply too lazy to take the time to photo shop Kenny’s name out of it.)

P.S. For the record, I don’t recall Kenny’s name being on my Volume 1 copy that “disappeared” on me. But then again, at this point in life, I don’t recall a lot of things.
And speaking of Kenny, on this, the first day of summer here he is. I particularly like his line “Summer’s like a long lost friend you ain’t seen in awhile, can’t help but make you smile.”
O’s and Yanks in rubber match at 4 o’clock today. Game will be on at Buzzy’s. To paraphrase Chuck “Ain’t the beer cold Miss Agnes!”
