Thank You Bev for Bringing the World to Me

I owe a big thanks to my friend Bev Gardiner for doing my computer upgrades and PC maintenance work thru the years. A few months ago, Bev helped me with a new PC that I had purchased and needed all my “stuff” transferred onto it from my old PC.

I contacted her and after some password exchanges over the phone, Bev took control of my PC’s and worked her magic. She transferred all of my files and data from the old computer to my new one as I sat, watched and marveled at how quickly she clicked and moved her way thru the files and apps to effect the transfers. It took awhile, but an hour or two later I was up and running doing my next day’s Buzzyblog post.

Somewhere in Bev’s maneuverings to the new PC, I ended up with a screen saver that changes daily with what they refer to as “Dynamic Scenes.” For example, the following image appeared today on my desktop:

Note in upper right corner there is a “Learn about” button that when clicked tells you what and where the scene is. This is the explanation for today’s image:

Some days, the images will be of places that I have visited such as these two:

Taj Mahal
Stonehenge

Whenever I see images of places that I have visited, it brings back pleasant memories of the times I saw those sights and who I was with at the time. For example, the first two above were sights that Dad and I visited during our travels to India and England. Santorini, Pam and I have been there a couple of times.

Please note however, with all the images shown so far, I am still waiting to have the following Dynamic Scene appear.

Since I mentioned Taj, guess I got to play something from him:

Again, thank you Bev!
