Notre Dame de Paris

In France a few weeks back, we checked out progress on Notre Dame’s rebuild following its destructive fire five years ago. Plans now call for a reopening this December 7-8. (Note that the 8th is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.) Their initial plans were to be open in time for this past Summer Olympics (click here.) Proves the old saying “Man plans, God laughs.”

And speaking of ladies fading away, check out a tune here from a D.C. band from the 60’s whom I have mentioned previously for their classic tune “What a Girl Can’t Do.” This flip side of that record was just as good:
