Last night was supposed to be the the kickoff of the planets aligning; but clouds got in the way. (Yeah, there is a free beer for you if you get that reference.)
However, despite not seeing them last night, the planets will be doing their alignment thing for the next couple of weeks into February so you’ve still got time to check them out. (Little tip for you, the New Moon set for January 29th is projected to be the best time to try and view the planets alignment. That is, clouds permitting.)
But regardless of all that, as previously advertised, we will host a Buzzy’s Planet Alignment Party this Saturday night. Come and see the stars at Buzzy’s! (Words that have never been said before!)

Again, the weather folks do not seem to be cooperating as they are calling for a cloudy weekend ahead which may preclude seeing things up there. But, as someone in Buzzy’s noted to me, “It’s too damn cold to be outside at night looking at stars. Let’s stay inside and eat and drink.” To which I added “And listen to some music.”
Got some pizza’s coming and David Norris set to play some tunes for us. I think he knows “Starry Night.” “Age of Aquarius” we may have to hold off on hearing from him.
Here is Joni still getting it done, albeit sitting down and with cane in hand. Wonder if she’s looked at that cane from both sides now?
