Going Cruising

Pam and I are heading south tomorrow for a Celebrity Cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale, thru the Caribbean and down to Curacao. There are a couple other ports we’re stopping at, but the for the most part, this is a “days-at-sea” cruise where you mostly eat, drink and do nothing.

I smile thinking that there was a time in my life when I would have regarded this as an entry on the boring side of my life’s ledger. However, I now find myself content realizing that boring has its benefits to the point that I’m actually looking forward to it.

As for the Buzzyblog here, like old man river, it will just keep rolling along because I have some things scheduled to appear daily during my off-the-gridness.

As for Buzzy’s Country Store it will be open as usual and serving up the same camaraderie and hospitality as always. Like they say in the rooms, “Keep coming back; it works if you let it.”

In my previous post the other day about falsetto tunes, I completely overlooked the Master of Falsetto himself – Smokey (85 years young.) Here he is capturing my pre-trip thoughts and mood.
