Someone recently sent me info about Davoll’s General Store in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts. (Try as I may I can’t recall who it was who directed me to check out Davoll’s but thank you for doing so!)
Davoll’s is the oldest general store in America still in operation.
From their website, Davoll’s looks like they have a little bit of everything going on.

Found this nice little video featuring not only Davoll’s and its current owner, but also donkey rescuing. Talk about saving one’s ass! (Sorry, couldn’t resist saying that.)
