Doing some spring cleaning, I came upon this Cheers ice bucket that I now have on display in Buzzy’s Country Store.

It reminded me that I had previously started a Cheers-related Buzzyblog post after I had heard a great radio interview (below) with the Charles brothers.
I recently completed reading Jim Burrows’ autobiography (see previous Buzzyblog post.). This interview below with Jim’s partners the Charles brothers dovetailed with many of Burrows’ comments and takes on how they created Cheers.
The two brothers collaborated with Burrows to make Cheers one of the most successful shows in T-V history. To hear that interview with them conducted by Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson check out the following:
Musically, I caught the movie version of the Broadway hit show “Waitress” the other night and enjoyed doing so. Some great songs all of which were written by Sara Bareilles. Here she is in the scene where she begins to have an affair with her gynecologist:
As Pam and I began to watch the musical, I immediately recognized Sara from this video with Jennifer Nettles:
