Nobody’s Perfect (Except For These 24)

On this day in baseball history, Randy Johnson at 40 years old, became the oldest pitcher in the history of MLB to throw a perfect game. (Randy also has the honor of being the tallest (6′ 10″) to ever accomplish this feat.) Thanks to my blog title above, I’m betting that you can answer the question “How many perfect games have ever been thrown in MLB History? Answer – If you said 24 go to the head of something.

The Texas Rangers’ Kenny Rogers threw his perfect game in 1994. Although his nickname was The Gambler, he wasn’t related to the other Kenny Rogers who recorded this tune:
