Some folks from the UK were here last week on vacation and enjoyed visiting Buzzy’s Country Store quite a few times. They enjoyed sitting out on the porch taking in the nice weather and sharing a couple of drinks with all my Buzzy friends.
After purchasing a couple of Buzzy hats with the Rock Fish prominently displayed, they informed me that they had friends back home in Preston, UK who owned a Tackle Store that reminded them of Buzzy’s and vice versa. They said that when they returned to Preston, their advice to their friends was going to be that they needed to get a liquor license.

My visitors informed me that Wayne passed away a couple years ago and that his son Gareth and daughter Maxine Llewellyn are currently running the store. Wayne had a son and named him Gareth? Pretty cool, eh?
