Close Encounter?

I had a group of folks in Buzzy’s Country Store the other day who purchased some hats and as they paid I asked them where they were from. They told me “New Mexico.” I proceeded to tell them how my brother was born in Roswell in 1952. I told them about my Dad Buzzy being in the Air Force and stationed there at the time and how he had been told that the Area-51 alien spaceship crash official coverup was that they were testing a weather balloon when in actuality they were testing the nuclear bomb. (I have discussed this previously (click here.)

When I asked them about Area-51 and if they were believers, they all paused very awkwardly a bit before saying anything. I followed up with “You guys aren’t part of them are you?” They all laughed, grabbed their newly purchased hats and proceeded to leave. However, as they were doing so, one them said to me “Maybe” and winked at me. Got to say that it kinda jolted me a little.

May Take My Buzzy Visitors Longer Than Others

If you google it, you will see that the subject of aliens living among us is fairly wide spread (click here for example.) Don’t know if my hat-buying visitors were goofing around with me or what. However, if they make a return visit to Buzzy’s, I may have to chat them up by trying Carl Sagan’s approach on how to communicate with them (Click here.)

Then again, most humans respond like that too don’t they?

Pretty good video here from Carl on communicating with aliens.

Still got the Byrds’ Fifth Dimension album somewhere in the milk crates with this tune on it:
