Big news here in the Point. The former Steuart’s property has recently been purchased and plans are to establish an Unmanned Technology i.e. drone facility on the 320 acre site. Check out a Baynet article on all this (click here.) Here was The Baynet headline:

On the positive side of the equation, plans are to dismantle the pipeline that runs thru Piney Point Creek as well as to get rid of the old storage tanks.
Mention of the airstrip and the pipeline sent me looking for a video that Bryan Swann once filmed of that area. (Ironically, Bryan was using his drone to make the video.) Note in the video how the pipeline bisects the creek. Note too the runway at the 1:30 mark. Bryan and Justina’s home is shown at the end of the video (click here.)
