Happy Gravy Day!

Continuing with a listen to some Christmas tunes that you are not too familiar with, the following song has led to the observance of what is referred to as National Gravy Day in Australia on every 21 December (click here for explanation.) That it is an Australian-based tune explains the line (1:15) “They say it’s going to be 100 degrees” because it is now summer time down there. (For the rest of the song’s lyrics (click here.)

And here he is doing an entertaining Christmas duet with Ian Wright. (Unlike the Gravy tune above, The Christmas Song gets a whole lot of air time at Christmas.)

Fourth and last Sunday of Advent so let’s close with a somewhat, ok make that very, stupid Advent joke:

Karen goes to Bethlehem. She demands to see the manger.
