Buzzy Podcast – Donnie Hammett

In this week’s Buzzy Podcast, Chief Larry and I talk with Donnie Hammett about his Maryland Park Service career, most of which was spent at Pt. Lookout State Park.

As for the Youth Fishing Tournament that Donnie mentioned, Maryland’s DNR folks continue to sponsor several Youth Fishing Rodeo’s throughout the State (click here). However, none of those are scheduled in St. Mary’s nor Charles Counties. Also, I was unable to find anything having to do with St. Mary’s County DARE folks sponsoring any Youth Fishing Tournaments. May be something to look at reviving County-wise or see if DNR would consider having one of their Fishing Rodeos somewhere here in the County.
