At one point yesterday afternoon in Buzzy’s Country Store, I looked around to note that I was the only person in the store even though I had several customers/friends there. They were all out on the Buzzy front porch enjoying the weather and relaxing.
End-of-July-weather is usually unbearably hot, but these past couple days have been great. The most repeated thing I heard yesterday was something along the lines “Wish we had this kind of weather every day.”
It is supposed to be nice again today. Buzzy’s front porch awaits you.

I was never a big Burl Ives fan and yes, this is his first appearance on the Buzzyblog in 20 years of blogging. (It will probably be his last one too.) However, this tune from the Disney movie Summer Magic dovetails nicely with today’s topic and also has a very young Haley Mills doing some cute little eye rolls. Too, the young boy with the dog is James Mathers whose older brother Jerry you know as The Beav.
